The Jets have one more practice, on Wednesday, before they battle the Giants on Friday night for that storied piece of hardware – the Snoopy Trophy.
This will be the final preseason game in which the Jets’ starters will play. So as the annual meeting of the Jets and Giants nears, here is what we will be looking for Wednesday, when the Jets practice in the shadow of their training facility:
Eric Decker making catches. He seems to be hitting his stride. Decker missed last Saturday’s preseason game at the Bengals because of a quad injury. It was never a big thing. The past two days in practice, Decker made nice catches on deep balls. He seems to be developing some chemistry with Geno Smith, the presumptive starting quarterback. They probably will get a lot of time on the field together Friday, since Ryan plays his starters for an entire half – and then a series in the second half – during the third preseason game.
Daddy holdin sweet girl at practice today!! Fan tweeted this shot. Love this!
