Ex-Bronco Eric Decker says that he has been doing a little bit of recruiting on his former Denver teammate and soon-to-be free agent Demaryius Thomas to reunite with him with the New York Jets.Decker left the Broncos after their 2013 Super Bowl run and signed a free-agent deal with the Jets.
“I’ve been pushing for the entire year now,” Decker told The New York Post. “It was just another opportunity to talk to him about it. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens.If he happens to make it to free agency, I would love to sign him because playing alongside him for four years and especially the last two years made it a lot of fun and made it a lot easier. He’s just one of the great players in this league.”
