On Monday, December 7th 2015, uSTADIUM, a social sports app providing fans with a simple, and fun social media platform mixed with offline events along with the Eric & Jessie Decker Foundation,hosted Bowling For Barks at Frames Lounge in New York City. This year’s event brought together supporters, clients, organization funders and staff for an exciting evening which included a VIP private bowl & greet, raffle and a silent auction.
NY Jets wide receiver Eric and country singer/songwriter Jessie Decker, along with teammates and friends from the NY Jets Breno Giacomini, Zach Sudfeld, Bryce Petty, Chris Owusu, Taiwan Jones, Deon Simon; Prince Amukamara (NY Giants) and celebrity guest Meredith O’Connor came together in support of the evening.
The Deckers, grateful for the outpouring of support thanked event attendees and encouraged them to donate to the Decker Foundation. “We are here tonight, able to have a great time and enjoy ourselves because of the sacrifices of our military and because they are fighting overseas to keep us safe at home” said EJDF cofounder Jessie James Decker. “We need to be grateful and do what we can to support these brave men and women when they come home from serving us and our country.”
Guests enjoyed hours of bowling, food, drinks and fun while in support of the Eric & Jessie Decker Foundation. Bowling for Barks raised over $10,000 and incredible awareness which will go a long way in providing service dogs to returning military personnel with serviceconnected disabilities.
